Today I’ve been playing with my minty-fresh copy of Illustrator 10… ah, it’s a beautiful thing. Brings a tear to your eye. ^_^;; Finally I can design the print things we produce (cd labels, phone book ads, business cards) in a proper program, no more of my ex-coworker’s Photoshop nonsense! I’m sorry, you do NOT do print layout in Photoshop, I don’t care how nice the text-rendering tools are, it still won’t cut it.
I think I’ve finally come up with something for the new serenitatis layout that I like, but it’s unusual (both for me and for the site). Hopefully I can get it up and running, so I’ll be putting out a call for beta-testers (just a basic “what do you think of it?” thing) pretty soon. Now I’m down to the hard part — processing the Dawn and Twilight galleries (Usagi and Mamoru’s solo sections, two-thirds of my pictures) into the new image-map format. And hopefully weeding some pictures out. -_-;; Yuck, and I have to do it in a month. Well, a month from Monday.
