Good thing: dropping my subscription card for Everyday Food in the mail this morning. Bad thing: mail server went down at work, so I’m pulling voicemail for the techs this morning. And eating homemade cheesecake with blueberry topping. :9 The first rush seems to be over.
Last night we weren’t hungry (since we purposely bought and ate foot-longs at Subway for lunch) so we went straight to the laundromat, after sorting out our clothes and watering the flowers and strawberries outside. We finished at a decent hour, for a change, and played GameBoy as usual. After getting home, we threw some taquitos in the oven and watched an episode of Babylon 5 before turning in. I then had nightmares all night, first a long drawn-out chase dream, and then a dream about snakes. I don’t mind benign snakes, really, but I’m terrified of rattlesnakes and poisonous snakes. Bleh. Therefore I woke up totally exhausted, and I’m just enjoying the temporary reassignment of duties in that recording phone messages doesn’t take much brain power and allows me the slow brain power-up sequence I need to be functional later.
