…Friday.

Yesterday was a wash and I didn’t blog about it because I wasn’t on the computer much… but I had to put my new board online, as you can see. ^^; I woke up with a pinched nerve in my neck and ended up sleeping through my first appointment of the day, dragging myself to school for my Exxon interview, and then skipping class for the rest of the day and going home. A two-hour nap with no pillow on the couch seemed to do the trick, so by the time Johan returned from getting two new tires for the car and getting the mail, I was well enough to go to Walmart with him and grab some lunch at Wendy’s. We picked up a few household items, the Final Fantasy Tactics Advance guidebook, Sting’s Sacred Love cd (yay!) and a two-disc Led Zeppelin DVD set that goes with the cd set we already have. Those were our goodies for this paycheck. :P And speaking of paychecks, is mine direct deposit yet? NO. >.< Now I have to hike out the bank again, le sigh. Not exactly what I wanted to do with my Friday afternoon! When we got home (massive traffic so we ended up taking the back roads) I spent the afternoon and evening reading through a paper I’m presenting in petrology next week. I met with my adviser this morning about it, and it seems as if I have a bit of background reading to do. o_O;; But I know that once this is over, I won’t have to really do much heavy reading again for a while, not in that class at least. I plan to spend my afternoon working on it, and also working on my thesis proposal papers. And listening to my Sting cd. *_*
