In between projects or during natural pauses in my workflow, I steal a few moments and check my dailies, browse around… post a blog entry. >>; I’m amusing myself and listening to Boy, ie, young!Bono, while I work. I’m still drooling over the Conan O’Brien show I watched last night (courtesy of Jai, whom I love), which featured U2 exclusively — one full hour of U2. @_@; For thems that didn’t see it (which was me until last night, the show aired on the 6th of this month), at one point Conan brought up an image of young!Bono, with two-tone fluffy 80s hair, and remarked that the band had changed a lot. I can’t remember exactly how Bono responded, but to paraphrase, he said no man should have hair that looks like it’s been ironed. (I remember the ironed part, as I was so amused at how it sounded with his accent, while at the same time dying over his fluffy hair. Almost mullet-esque, really.) “AIYYerrrned” was how it came out.

At any rate, the show was great, the performances were great, and I was highly entertained by The Edge performing in a skit, period, but also by him and Bono bagging on eachother over Edge’s beanie and Bono’s glasses. (It was also just plain adorable to hear Edge say… anything, as he always seems pretty quiet. He has an adorable little accent, adding to his general huggability factor. Glompability?) That, and of all the bands they could have spoofed Edge running off and appearing with, it HAD to be… Kid n’ Play. XD XDDD The image they photoshopped him into was… priceless. Hats off to the Conan O’Brien Photoshop/Image Manipulation Team. ;D

(Boy is amusing the crap out of me. The talent is all there, same as every other album, but they seem so rough and… young. Very, very cute. I’ve been all smiles.)

Anyway, as I alluded to last post, I did indeed become a business yesterday, and I am quite pleased. ^^; I will be revamping my business site over the weekend (hopefully!) and will unveil it soon. I’ll link it here if people are interested. ^^;; I wonder if my license will come in the mail today, or Monday. *_* I also ended up with business checking, as after I shared my happy news with A-chan’s coworkers at Washington Mutual, I was hauled over to New Accounts by most of the staff, all excitedly chattering, “so you need BUSINESS CHECKING!! *____* ” (I definitely think they were more excited than I was, LOL. I was planning to open an account later on, but not necessarily… yesterday afternoon.) I’ve been working a lot lately, as evidenced by the on-and-off posting, to earn my business fees, next to earn my chamber of commerce fees, and then to save up for next month’s trip. Which I have yet to announce or post about. I’ll likely do so in a week, after… my mom goes back overseas. >>;

Made some more icons for my icon challenge (see sidebar) last night, and I’ve dabbled in this and that. Still skimming the NaNoWriMo forums, still working through No Plot? No Problem! in the hopes of loaning it to Lenneth before November. I’m down at Johan’s work for the afternoon, demonstrating the vastness of my “virtual office”, which is exactly why I shouldn’t have to pay zoning fees for my business. -_-;
