An almost last-minute development to this post:
I got a birthday card today. From my mom. While she was leading her tour, no less. I think this is the first time she’s EVER sent a birthday card while on tour. Ever. It even got here in time. It was sweet.
I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw the envelope.
I cried.
