Yesterday I started a new regimen, led by Lenneth, of diet and exercise. She has amassed a stockpile of eating tips and tricks which worked for her, and I finally feel at a point in my life where I’m ready to have them work for me. I’m eating less, being more conscious of what I eat, and went on Lenneth’s Walk (approximately three miles, lots of elevation changes) last night. The walk did not (surprisingly) kill the usual muscles, but did (surprisingly) kill my knees. Thank God for Aleve. Unfortunately it all went into my knees, leaving none for my elbow. (I’m a bit worse today. I had to drive two-handed last night, it was too windy to attempt otherwise.)
This past weekend was completely horrid (as previously mentioned, which is why I haven’t gone into further detail.) This week is proving hectic, but we’re working towards a yard sale on Saturday, to finally get rid of the junk we’ve amassed from my dad, A-chan and ourselves over the years. I’m looking forward to a garage we can park our car in, this winter.
