I spent the weekend (mostly) offline. Saturday I spent the day with Mom in Medford, which was (very) surprisingly pleasant for both of us. I came home with two new cacti, two new cds and a few household odds and ends. The more I drive her Subaru Outback, the more I want one for our next car purchase…. >>; It drive so nice! And take less gas!
Yesterday we had lunch with Johan’s parents and sister, spent the afternoon moving furniture (I was there, but not actually involved), and had dinner with our group of friends at Kommissar’s (Chinese <3) for our fortnight-ly hang-out time. Didn’t bring my computer this time, I decided I’d rather not. I finally beat Dragonquest: Rocket Slime, and although the ending was a little anticlimactic, it appears there’s more things I can do, now that I’ve watched the credits. (Thank goodness, I knew there had to be more! Tank battles RULE.)
I got my last happy fun box of Celga goodies today, and am selling an original Eternal Tiaru/Tier cosplay toy that I have extra. It’s in remarkable condition, considering it’s eleven years old. Also got a beautiful Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne art print to frame for my office, I’m looking forward to having it on the wall. (There’s a few more things for auction that require scanning, stay tuned.)
This week I’m finishing one site, starting two more, and hopefully converting to a theme I’m happy with here at Hoshichan.com. We’ll see how much I can accomplish.

You know you want to own a Subaru. JOIN US.
(Even though I am temporarily lapsed and currently driving a Mitsubishi, seeing as how I live two hours away from Mitsubishi World Headquarters and there are nothing but Mitsubishi dealers for hundreds of miles around. My heart still belongs to Subaru.)

LOL, I have nothing at all against Subaru, or indeed ANY Japanese car brand (reasons for that should be obvious.) What impressed me about the Outback was that it handled like my Corolla, but it’s AWD. And can roll through over a foot of snow (my parents’ unplowed driveway) like strolling through the park. Doesn’t give it a second thought.
My dad is getting very enthusiastic about it too, and he’s a mechanic, so when he starts chirping about a car, I tend to listen. ;)
