I spent the afternoon watching Vertigo ‘05 (again), and marveling at how great U2 is in concert. (Wish I could hear them in person!) I’ve also picked up Bono again, determined to finish reading it (lack of time, certainly not lack of interest! Finding it fascinating.) I’m still working on U2 by U2, but the book is so large and so densely packed with text that it’s taking me a while. (A shocker for someone who reads as fast as me.)
I had a bit of an idea about Blinding-Lights.net, I don’t know if I’ll act on it yet. I thought I might do U2 album and/or song reviews there, since I have opinions about most of them (albums and songs.) I wonder if it’s been done, or is overdone? I haven’t seen much of it, but granted I haven’t exactly been looking, either.
Got an exciting new gem reference book today, which should help my writing a ton. (Lenneth, it got here! It’s huge! And very very purple.) Off to do some of that (writing), and make some dinner.

U2 by U2 was the most entertaining read I have had in some time. I devoured it in a day and want to read it again in the worst possible way. Just have to wait until it’s returned…

Thanks for the link, Jai — interesting site, but not quite what I’m thinking of. I’m just (honestly) thinking about writing about U2’s songs, what I think of them, what I take away from them, etc. I got to the end of a chapter in Bono and found that Stay (Faraway, So Close!) is one of his favorite songs, which totally made my day, so I want to write about Stay. Heck, I’m even willing to try and speak intelligently about why Bullet the Blue Sky is my very least-favorite song in their repertoire! ^^;
I’m still thinking about it, but it’d be fun to sort-of “review” each album, and each song, as I have time. I was listening to Boy the other day and cracking up.
