Yesterday’s post was draining to write, to say the least. The response so far has been lovely and kind, thank you all so much.

Today was a disaster, work-wise, although I did take my favorite dog to the vet for a check-up, get the car worked on, and run sundry errands. In between running out the door (and subsequently running back in), I scanned the web and skimmed things I’d normally do full posts on elsewhere; for now, let it be said that Her Majesty, the Queen is extremely cute. And looked perfectly royal today, at NASA.

At the end, the client I’d been waiting for walked in to let me know that a higher-up had decided to change everything, rendering today’s (and yesterday’s) rush to complete things before the client’s vacation time fruitless. I hate that. What a waste. And now, from all this running around, I feel wasted myself.
