I’ve been quiet this week, I know. Work. Work! I have no excuses, there ARE no excuses. I’m learning to balance my life but on a deadline week such as this (look at me not working, at this moment), all regularly scheduled blogging goes out the window. And sadly, I and you and we are still looking at my Christmas Blix layout, and chances of that changing this weekend are slim. Work! I tell ya.

I’ve invested in a lot of gemstone/semi-precious beads lately — since I can’t work on Olivine, the next-best thing is to wear peridot almost daily. I have some neat ideas, the culture is starting to take shape, and I have high hopes for the world in general… if I ever have time to build it. (It’s silly but I wish I could find an adequate domain name for the setting — words cannot express how much envy Lenneth’s Searoyal page inspires within me on a daily basis.) Anyway, I’ve done so much wardrobe revamping in recent weeks that I’m finding myself reworking my accessories as well, and selecting stones that will go with various outfits. I’m going to redo some of my existing necklaces, I think, change the length, etc. (I really need to place an order at Fusion Beads, I’m getting low on findings and I need multi-strand stuff for what I want to do. Meh.)

Other than work, not much has gone on. Hoping to launch my deadline project today, if all goes as planned. I’ll pimp it here, naturally. (Need a little back-patting after all this work! :P )
