Today I did not get carded while buying beer; considering I turned 29 today, that was a little disheartening. Ran errands for Mom’s wedding, delivered reception cupcakes, decorated, made myself a blue tulle scarf and wore it to Round Table for dinner. Home now, having a quiet evening, anticipating a small, late party when Elrohir gets here.
Johan gave me an allowance on Amazon, so I have the U2 PopMart DVD coming, among other things, and a really neat mineral book courtesy of the Houston Museum of Natural Science. My dad bought me The Muppet Show, Season 2, which is much appreciated. Bought myself an enormous cupcake to stick a candle in (and some for Johan, Lenneth and Elro), and a largish beer, which I have yet to crack open.
It was nice to come home from a hectic day and see two threads full of birthday wishes @ TAFL; you guys rule. :} Seriously.

Thanks Brad! Yeah, I love the Muppets, and U2. (Can you tell? ^^;; ) And thanks about the layout! Not as customized as I prefer, but I had to move, so I moved. Huzzah.
