Without my laptop to distract me, there’s really no excuse NOT to clean the house from top to bottom — using Johan’s PC to check email (and blog) is sufficiently slow and blicky to keep me on-task. I’m struggling to not stomp around frustrated all day. It’s not that I want to be working — this enforced vacation is badly needed, I’ll be the first to admit — but not having my own computer environment, coupled with having to fend off clients and disgruntled persons with my story of woe, is stripping the shine off my First Day of Freedom. That the house is an utter mess and we have company coming over, absolutely MANDATING that it be cleaned, is just icing.
I’m going to work on Olivine while I’m sans-computer, catch up on a little reading if I can, and generally relax. I feel a little guilty for benefiting from my computer fiasco, but what can I do? I’m thirsty, I have lemons… might as well open a stand while I’m at it. 9_9;
