I feel like my eyes have been glued to one book or another for days now — the upshot of which is that I’m only five books short of completing the 50 Book Challenge. I’ve been re-reading Madeleine L’Engle’s Time Quintet (one book left, one I didn’t know about; the Quint to my Time Quartet) and am starting on Holly Lisle’s Secret Texts trilogy. I’m afraid Diplomacy of Wolves hooked me at page one. -_-; Oh well, I’ve been needing to zoom off into Book Land more often.

I was delighted to receive my TAFL Secret Santa gift from lovely Janice, who bought me both Dragonhaven by Robin McKinley and Let’s Cook Japanese Food; Lenneth has the cookbook and we were borrowing it when my very own copy arrived! ^^; Thanks Jani-poo, your notes were very sweet. <3

I’m still under the weather, still feeling overly stomped-upon. My head feels like things are rolling around inside it, making noise. Gaming tonight seems laughable, between the way my head feels and the way it sounds when I try to make noise with it… but I’ll give it a try anyhow.
