We spent New Year’s Eve with friends in Weed. We arrived with armloads of food, to find that our friends had also prepared heaps of edibles, and the kitchen island was amazingly laden, considering there were only six of us to feed. We ate (and ate, and ate), talked for a while, and played The Game of LIFE™ until almost 3 am (said game dragged out because of giggling, conversation and distraction on the part of all players.)
I have a good feeling about 2008. I still have a very long haul ahead of me, but I feel optimistic. Things are looking up, and I can’t exactly what makes me say so, but… things are looking up.

OK. The link that I gave you above is writing related, but you’ll recognize me more as Bowl of Cheese. I’ve got that and a bunch of other sites too.
And I apologize for leaving a random comment on a post that doesn’t apply to writing. I didn’t feel like digging too far down into Hoshichan to find a post that applied directly.
Please take part in the writing exercises at Jeff Cutler dot com and feel free to read my other stuff.
Also, watch Bowlofcheese (the site not the twitterer) for an announcement and chronicle of my 12-month writing sabbatical. REALLY.
Starts March 1 at the latest.
Keep writing.

Thanks for stopping by, Jeff! I’ll definitely check out your writing exercises, and send my friend Lenneth over as well (another writer.)
Once again, good luck with your sabbatical!
