I’ve spent the past three days trying a new daily routine and working very, very hard. (So hard I’ve finished two sites this week, with another one to start later today or tomorrow.) I’ve found easily another hour of day that I probably frittered away online, or sleeping, or something, and I’m enjoying that hour. Sometimes I read, sometimes I crochet, sometimes I write. It’s very peaceful, and it’s in the morning so I can wake up and relax, and arrive at the computer awake and ready to work.
Unfortunately the writing has taken a back-seat while I focus on getting caught up on sitework; my short story contest deadline is less than a month out, and I don’t know what I think of that, exactly. I haven’t given up yet. I guess I can’t really add to that; I just don’t know more.
Business is booming, I can hardly believe the influx of prospective clients I’ve had this month! All relatively simple jobs, and I’m booking my way through the summer. Now to cut a swath through the work remaining….
