Er, HI. Haven’t seen you since… Wednesday? Yikes.

The end of last week was busy, the weekend was busy… today’s been the first at-home day I’ve had since last blog post. I just spent two hours recreating my iTunes playlists so I can sync my iPod (first time since The Big Crash.) Sync looks to be almost a third of the way through. Will take a while.

Dare I say it, I had a real plot breakthrough today on the Selene short story; after realizing yesterday that a pivotal image I was going to use doesn’t… exist… in that form… where I was putting it… I wasn’t sure where to go or how to do any of the story. Oddly enough, a few arbitrary decisions and a story title did the trick! I’m set to write, sans a few facts I’ll need to look up and a minor plot issue. I will start the draft tonight. Promise.

Started my next site project this afternoon, and will try to whip it up tomorrow morning, before anything else comes up. Don’t have much to go on so it’ll be a quick job, mostly cosmetic. All I can do without more information.

Started Eldest because I just couldn’t read anything since finishing Tamsin. (Checked it out of the library, heh. Wanted to make sure the writing got a little better after Eragon before I laid more dollars down….)

I’m sick of the layout and I crave another masthead, but I don’t know what of yet. Still thinking. I have one idea but I don’t know exactly how it’d play out, and I may want to use it for a splash page on another domain. (Depends on what I decide to do with said domain. I’m being annoyingly vague, I know.)
