I went through my Gmail accounts (those bottomless pits that gather all my site-mail, all my mailings, all my everything) and deleted about 95%+ of it. All gone. Deleted by the thousands.
And it felt good! I don’t care if Gmail has heaps of storage, there’s just no good reason to save EVERYTHING. (And this should certainly speed up my IMAP folder access on dialup!)
