I just featured the most beautiful new images at Common-Space.net. Really, go take a look. You won’t regret it.
I’ve been dealing with a lot of offline things lately, stuff I can’t really share — heck, forget share, can’t hardly comprehend or understand myself, in my own head. I’m quiet, I’m reading a lot, I’m working [...]

Silence fills the air
July 12th, 2007 · 6 Comments
I suppose it’s forgivable to blog lightly in the summertime — mostly my week has been hectic, involving way more running-around than I prefer. It’s hard to focus, especially here. Every time I look at this site, I’m reminded that I still haven’t finished the new theme, and therefore can’t move it to my new [...]

Various fixations
June 23rd, 2007 · 2 Comments
The entire week was odd, full of random reschedulings and debilitating migraines. (Yay, I need prescription sunglasses!) I felt about as “floaty” as I’ve ever been, drifting through each workday, prepared to be blown off course. Some really good things happened, too personal to share.

Beading

Spent the late evening last night beading, for Mom’s birthday present. She presented me with an exquisite strand of Czech glass faceted round beads, a lovely mossy green. The color fades from green to charcoal, so I strung them with dark olivine-colored seed beads and round polished pyrite beads — hematite seemed too shiny, too [...]

Shopping
October 14th, 2006 · 2 Comments
Ended up forsaking work yesterday and spending the day in Medford, where I finally cashed in my birthday gift card at the Bead Studio, bought a number of books at Barnes and Noble (some in the sidebar), bought The End (conquered it this morning, le sigh) and was bought…en… the Zoo TV Sydney concert DVD, [...]
